ClientX ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered inbound conversion platform operated by Continum. Our service ("ClientX") is embedded on customer websites to engage visitors, answer questions, capture leads, and book meetings.

What Data We Collect
When a visitor interacts with a ClientX widget embedded on a website, we may collect:
Contact information - name, email address, phone number (only when voluntarily provided by the visitor)
Conversation data - messages sent to and received from the AI agent
Device and technical data - IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited
Booking data -preferred meeting times, calendar invite details (when a visitor books a call)
Company data - company name, job title (when voluntarily provided or inferred from email domain)
We do not collect payment card information, government IDs, or sensitive personal data.
How We Use Your Data
We use collected data to:
Power the AI conversation and provide relevant responses
Capture and deliver qualified leads to the website owner (our customer)
Schedule meetings and send calendar invites
Improve AI response quality and widget performance
Detect and prevent abuse or spam
Comply with legal obligations
4. Who We Share Data With
We share visitor data only as necessary:
The website owner (our customer) - they receive lead data including name, email, and conversation summary
Anthropic - AI responses are generated via Anthropic's Claude API. Conversation content is processed by Anthropic under their Privacy Policy
Cal.com / Calendly - if a visitor books a meeting, booking data is sent to the configured calendar provider
Supabase - our database provider stores conversation and lead data
Infrastructure providers - Railway (hosting), Cloudflare (CDN/security)
We do not sell personal data to third parties. We do not use visitor data for advertising.
Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For visitors in the European Economic Area, we process personal data under the following legal bases:
Legitimate interests - operating the AI widget on behalf of the website owner
Consent - where required, visitors are informed before submitting contact details
Contract - processing necessary to fulfil a booking or follow-up request
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
Object to or restrict processing
Data portability - receive your data in a structured format
Opt out of sale (California residents under CCPA - we do not sell data)
To exercise any of these rights, email hey@clientx.in. We will respond within 30 days.
Data Retention
Conversation and lead data is retained for up to 24 months or until the website owner deletes it from their dashboard, whichever comes first
Technical/log data is retained for up to 90 days
You may request deletion at any time (see Section 6)
8. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including:
TLS encryption in transit
Encrypted database storage via Supabase
Access controls and authentication on all systems
Regular security reviews
No system is 100% secure. In the event of a breach affecting your data, we will notify affected parties as required by law.
Children's Privacy
ClientX is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data through a ClientX widget, contact us at hey@clientx.in.
. Cookies
The ClientX widget uses localStorage (not cookies) to remember a visitor's conversation session across page loads. No tracking or advertising cookies are set. The website owner may independently use cookies on their site - refer to their own privacy policy.
. International Transfers
Our servers are located in the United States. If you are in the EEA or UK, your data is transferred to the US under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses with our data processors).

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of ClientX after changes constitutes acceptance.
