ClientX — Visitor ID Data Use Terms
1. Permitted Use
You may use data and enrichment features provided through ClientX solely for internal sales and marketing purposes within your own organisation. Access is limited to your own employees and authorised team members. All users must be of legal age of majority in their jurisdiction.
2. Prohibited Use
2.1 Distribution and competitive use
Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or make the data or any part of it available to any third party
Use the service on behalf of, or for the benefit of, any third-party entity — even without charge
Use the service or its outputs to build, train, or improve any competing product, dataset, service, or feature
Create derivative products, datasets, or services from the data, whether aggregated, identified, or de-identified
2.2 Integrity and access
Provide false, fictitious, or misleading information when registering or using the service
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation
Access or extract data through any means other than the interfaces ClientX provides — scraping, crawlers, and bots are strictly prohibited
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels on output data
Access data or systems beyond what ClientX explicitly makes available to you
2.3 Regulated decisions
Make, or assist in making, decisions about credit-worthiness, credit approval, employment eligibility, or insurance eligibility using data from the service (including any use covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or equivalent laws)
2.4 Prohibited verticalsDo not use the service in connection with: illegal products or services; tobacco, marijuana, or controlled substances; firearms or weapons; adult content; gambling or lotteries; astrology or fortune-telling; credit repair or payday lending; securities fraud or market manipulation; investment schemes or unlicensed financial advice; hate speech or discrimination; fraud, harassment, defamation, or threats; intellectual property infringement; or any purpose that violates applicable law including CAN-SPAM, CASL, TCPA, and Telemarketing Sales Rules.
3. Email and Outreach Restrictions
When using ClientX data in any outreach email, SMS, or phone you must:
Send only to individual, named recipients. Do not send to role-based addresses (hello@, info@, marketing@, etc.)
Include a clear opt-out mechanism in every commercial email and honour opt-outs promptly
Send only from your real identity no fictional names, pseudonyms, aliases, or spoofed senders
Keep bounce rates, spam complaints, and abuse reports within acceptable thresholds
Never include links to malware, viruses, or any harmful software
Not send unsolicited or harassing messages via any channel
4. Privacy Notice Requirement
You must post a cookie/tracking notice on every website where you collect personal information from visitors. That notice must describe the data collected and include a functional opt-out link. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable privacy laws in all jurisdictions where your websites are accessible.
5. Security
You must:
Keep your credentials confidential and not share them
Connect to the service only over encrypted connections
Ensure all devices accessing the service run up-to-date OS patches and active anti-malware
Revoke access for any employee or contractor within 24 hours of their departure
Notify ClientX within 72 hours of any security incident or unauthorised access at hey@continum.in
Report suspected vulnerabilities to ClientX support promptly
6. Enforcement
ClientX may immediately suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these terms without prior notice. You are responsible for ensuring compliance by everyone who accesses the service on your behalf.
