Why does agent detection matter?

Because every agent visit is a buying signal. When GPTBot crawls your pricing page, a human asked ChatGPT about you. When Claude-Web hits your security page, an enterprise buyer is using Claude in Chrome to evaluate you. Most chat tools see zero of these. ClientX surfaces all of them and resolves them to real companies.

What about MCP? When does that ship?

The MCP endpoint is in late beta with our paying customers. Public release rolls out as part of the Growth and Scale tiers. Until then, agent detection and llms.txt are live and working today.

Is this an add-on or part of the main product?

Part of the main ClientX product. Every plan gets agent detection and llms.txt by default. No additional cost. Already running on every customer site.

Will agents skip the regular chat widget if they can read llms.txt?

That's the point. Agents need structured answers, not chat bubbles. The llms.txt is for them. The widget stays for humans. Same product, two surfaces.

How does ClientX resolve an IP to a company?

ClientX runs a waterfall of IP-to-company resolution under the hood. We tag every agent session with the company that owns the upstream IP. Confidence score included so you know when it's a verified match versus a best guess. Works for known cloud IPs, corporate networks, and most of the long tail.

What counts as a conversation?

Any chat session where a visitor sends at least one message. If they open the widget and close it without typing, it doesn't count.

Why are leads unlimited?

Leads are the thing you bought ClientX for. Capping them is capping your own success. Conversations cost us money. Leads don't.

How does the trial work?

7 days, $1 authorization (drops off after 7 days). Card required. Full Starter access with a 50-conversation cap.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. One-click cancel from your dashboard, no email back-and-forth. You keep access until the end of your billing period.

Do you charge per lead or per enrichment?

No. Apollo enrichment uses your own API key. HubSpot syncs use your account. We only charge for the conversations our AI handles.

What if I'm an early access customer?
